DDA Kari Hathorn convicted defendant Bret Stormer two weeks ago after a trial for Felony Attempt to Elude, DUII, Reckless Endangering, Reckless Driving, Driving While Suspended and Refusal to Take the Breath Test. This was defendant Stormer's 7th DUII conviction over his lifetime. Yesterday, at sentencing DDA Hathorn requested the maximum sentence of 1 year in jail; ultimately the defendant was sentenced to 9 months by the court.
