Today, Bend Police Officers issued citations to 52-year-old Bend resident David William Hart for crimes related to a protest march that happened on June 6, 2020 in Bend. The marchers were proceeding from the Old Mill District to downtown Bend. Along the route the marchers walked across NW Lava Road, in a cross walk, at the intersection of Lava and SW Industrial Way. Mr. Hart was in his Jeep heading southbound on NW Lava Road.
